Azerai La Residence Hue
Set on the peaceful banks of the Perfume River and directly opposite Hue’s Imperial Citadel, Azerai La Residence enjoys one of the finest locations in the former imperial capital. The hotel occupies the beautifully restored Residence Supérieure de l’Annam, a striking Art Deco mansion built in 1930 that once served as the residence of the French governor.
Stepping inside feels like entering another era. The elegant curved façade, polished wooden floors, and vintage details pay homage to Hue’s colonial past, while the rooms and suites offer all the comforts of a contemporary luxury hotel.
Accommodation is spacious and tastefully designed, blending Art Deco influences with modern amenities. A handful of rooms enjoy private balconies overlooking the Perfume River and the ancient Citadel beyond among the most sought-after rooms in the hotel.
One of the great pleasures of staying here is simply slowing down and enjoying the setting. Spend a leisurely afternoon beside the saltwater swimming pool, indulge in a soothing spa treatment, or enjoy dinner at Le Parfum, where Vietnamese specialities and international dishes are served with lovely river views.
With the Imperial City, pagodas, royal tombs, and old garden houses all within easy reach, Azerai La Residence is the perfect base from which to explore the cultural treasures of Hue.
