Kon Tum offers an interesting blend of French missionary history and Central Highlands culture.

Kon Tum Wooden Church

Built between 1913 and 1918, Kon Tum Wooden Church combines Romanesque architecture with traditional Ba Na design. Constructed from local hardwood, the cathedral features beautiful wooden columns, graceful arches and a peaceful garden.

Kon K’lor Rong House

Visit the impressive Kon K’lor Rong House, a traditional Ba Na communal building used for village meetings, ceremonies and festivals. Nearby, the Kon K’lor suspension bridge offers lovely views across the Dak Bla River.

Bishop’s House and Museum

The historic Bishop’s House is another fine example of wooden architecture. Its small museum displays traditional clothing, tools, photographs and cultural objects from the ethnic communities of the Central Highlands.

Vinh Son Orphanage

Vinh Son Orphanage supports children from local ethnic minority communities. Visits or donations should be arranged in advance through the orphanage.
